Membership Refund Policy

Youghal Golf Club relies on membership fees as its primary source of revenue to fund its operations throughout the year.
Annual operating budgets are established based on projected memberships. Associated fees such as Golf Ireland union subs are paid up at the start of the year on behalf of each member.

 

Policy Statement

Upon receipt and processing of an applicant’s annual subscription fees, it is the clubs policy that there are no refunds of membership fees, outside of exceptional circumstances such as illness or injury, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Management Committee.

 

How do I request a refund?

Requests must be submitted in writing to Youghal Golf Club Management committee outlining the circumstances pertaining to the request.

 

 

Competition Refund Policy

As currently no competition fees are payable prior to competition sign in, a refund policy does not apply.
Once signed into a competition, entry fee paid is non-refundable.
This policy is subject change in future given the recent increased demand for tee times whereby competition fee is payable at the time of booking.

 

 

Bar/Competition purse refunds.

Any unused fund in a members bar/competition purses carry forward from year to year.
Upon terminating membership, any balance remaining on a members bar/competition purse
will be returned to the member in the form of a club voucher redeemable in the pro shop, bar or as green fees.
